The Robsons Present: Rockin' Chickies

(Moroccan Chickpeas)

Ingredients

  • 6 oz carrots
  • 1/4 cup Californian olive oil
  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground mint
  • 1 tsp ras el hanout
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

  1. Chop carrots and put them in a bowl with a little water; microwave for 1.5 minutes.
  2. Put all ingredients into wide shallow pan and add 1/2 cup water.
  3. Bring to a simmer, then switch heat to low.
  4. Cook for about 10 minutes.
